The project has been carried out within the framework of the Japanese Government's Grassroots Grant Aid Program (GGP), with a total funding of 71,841 USD (about 1.75 billion VND), started on October 10, 2024, and completed on schedule on January 20, 2025. The project includes the following items: A new boarding area, kitchen and dining area, embankment, bunk beds, toilet system, concrete yard, drainage ditch, and many other renovation items. After the handover, the boarding area will create conditions for 120 students from ethnic minorities in remote areas to improve their living conditions, save costs by not having accommodation outside, ensure safe accommodation, and improve the learning quality. The project not only enhances the quality of teaching but also contributes to narrowing the educational gap between urban and mountainous areas, aiming at the goal of poverty reduction and sustainable economic development in Phu Yen.
