At the conference, leaders of Song Ma and Muong Et districts reported on the socio-economic, defense, and security situation in 2024, assessing the implementation of the contents of the signed Memorandum of Understanding. The Party Committee, government, and people of the two ethnic groups of Song Ma and Muong Et districts always promote the tradition of special solidarity and friendship, regularly exchange information and cooperate in economic and social fields; promptly coordinate to propagate and mobilize people of border communes and villages to implement the Agreement on Border Regulations, proactively resolve arising issues related to security and order, border lines and border markers to ensure political stability and border security.

Song Ma district and Muong Et district agreed on the content of cooperation in the coming time. Strengthening bilateral patrol coordination to protect the safety of the border system and border markers, preventing and promptly and effectively handling violations, and creating favorable conditions for enterprises operating in the area to operate by the law, enhancing cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges to contribute to promoting the traditional solidarity and close relationship between the Party Committees, authorities, and people of all ethnic groups of the two districts.
