In which the development of transport infrastructure "go one step ahead" in a synchronous and modern manner, the province focuses on building key transport projects in the province, such as the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau highway, the bypass of Son La City, and Na San airport; continue to promote the movement to build rural roads associated with the national target program on new rural construction; complete the goal of hardening 100% of roads to the commune center.

Developing multi-purpose irrigation for agricultural, industrial, and water supply for people and other economic sectors; striving by 2025, 100% of the rural population may use hygienic water, and 80% of the rural population use clean water.

Gradually build and develop a complete urban system of the province with synchronous, modern, green, clever, and sustainable infrastructure, ensuring harmony with the countryside; have the power to spread and improve the quality of people's lives. Developing Son La city by grade-I -I urban orientation; Striving to build Moc Chau district to become a town in 2025.

The priority is to develop renewable energy sources synchronously with constructing transmission grid infrastructure to diversify the power supply. Continue to effectively implement the rural power supply program to supply electricity to disadvantaged areas, striving for households to use electricity safely by 2025 to reach 99%.

Striving the occupancy rate of Mai Son Industrial Park by 2025 to reach 100%; construction of Van Ho Industrial Park with synchronous and modern infrastructure by 2025, 100% of industrial clusters were established, and the rate of industrial clusters reached over 70%.

Investing in synchronous construction of Moc Chau National Tourism Infrastructure, striving by 2025 to be eligible to recognize the national tourist area; orientation for tourism planning of Son La Hydroelectric Lake into a national tourist area.

Regarding new rural construction, by the end of 2025, the whole province has one more district meeting new rural standards; Accumulated 83 communes meeting new rural standards, including 04 border communes; 20 communes meet new rural standards and 3-5 new model rural communes; on average, 16 criteria/commune.

Continuing to improve social infrastructure, promoting socialization to attract investment, developing health infrastructure, education, and sports culture, gradually improving the quality of life of the people; developing the telecommunications and information technology infrastructure system to meet the requirements of applying the technology of the fourth industrial revolution, creating a foundation for e-government development associated with smart cities.

Recently, the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province have focused on implementing key transport projects in the area, specifically large-scale projects such as the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau highway section in Son La province. The province continues implementing technical infrastructure investment projects, focusing on building, renovating, and upgrading crucial roads in the locality to create resources and breakthrough socio-economic development in the provincial area.
