Delegation of the Embassy of Japan visits and works in Phu Yen district

(En.sonla.gov.vn) On February 13, 2025, the delegation of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam led by Mr. Sato Kenji, Research Attaché of the Embassy of Japan, visited and worked in Phu Yen district. Mr. Pham Vu Thang, Director of the Central Forestry Project Management Board, joined the delegation. Welcoming and working with the delegation on the Phu Yen side, there was Mr. Dang Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, and leaders of relevant divisions and offices.
Overview of the meeting.At the meeting, the leaders of Phu Yen District People's Committee briefly reported on the results of the implementation of the investment project to build a boarding house for Da Do Primary and Secondary School, and at the same time, made several proposals for the project to repair and build new infrastructure works of Kim Bon Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Kim Bon Commune, Phu Yen District. The meeting took place in an open, frank, and highly constructive atmosphere. The two sides discussed the need for infrastructure investment, specifically educational and healthcare works, and support for forest development in the locality. These proposals are under the framework of the Grant Aid Program (GGP) of the Government of Japan. The representative of the Embassy highly appreciated the efforts of the Phu Yen District in implementing educational development projects and pledged to continue to accompany and promote cooperation in the coming time.
Mr. Sato Kenji, Research Attaché of the Embassy of Japan, spoke about the need for investment in educational infrastructure in Phu Yen district.This meeting contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationship between Japan and Son La province in general and Phu Yen district in particular, opening many new cooperation opportunities in the fields of education, forest development, and environmental protection.
