The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the provincial departments and branches welcomed the Embassy of Denmark to visit and work in the province.

During the month, agencies and organizations in the province welcomed and worked with 05 delegations, 33 people from the Lao PDR, and 08 delegations, 14 people from Japan, China, Russia, and France. The Provincial People's Committee organized a reception for the Ambassador of the European Union, the Ambassador of Denmark to Vietnam, and their delegations to visit and work in the province; welcomed the delegations of the Embassies of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Japan and the delegations of 02 provinces: Hua Phan, Luang Prabang, Lao PDR to visit and work in the province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent a congratulatory letter to the Australian Embassies in Vietnam on its National Day 2025.

In performing the international cooperation and integration work, the province continues to monitor the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Son La province and 09 provinces of the Lao PDR. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued reports about cooperation with Chinese partners and the situation of cooperation with Singaporean and Japanese partners, summarizing 10 years of implementing the Project "Developing relations between Vietnam and Middle Eastern and African countries in the period of 2016 - 2025". Informing relevant agencies and units in the province about the Fulbright Expert Program in 2025 and the Fulbright Full Master's Scholarship Program in the academic year 2026 - 2027 at the request of the Department of Culture and Information - US Embassy in Hanoi. Inform relevant agencies and organizations in the province about outstanding international economic events to register to participate in the Smart Manufacturing Exhibition (Qatar Smart Manufacturing 2025) in Doha - Qatar, and the 58th Diplomatic Corps Charity Fair (held in Thailand).

During the month, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Son La province hosted the reception, worked with and reported on the results of the activities of the Chief Representative and the Working Group of the International Relief/Development Organization (FIDR) who came to work in Son La province; advised the province on the draft document of the Provincial People's Committee agreeing to request the competent authority to extend the Certificate of Registration of Australian Volunteers International (AVI).

In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to direct relevant departments and branches to implement the 2025 Foreign Affairs Action Plan, continue to carry out procedures to allow and send delegations on foreign business trips by regulations, coordinate the appraisal, and submit to the competent authority of the province for policies and instructions for foreign organizations and individuals visiting and working in the province according to regulations, advise on foreign affairs reception work to organize the reception of foreign delegations visiting and working with provincial leaders, monitor the implementation of the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Son La province and 09 provinces of the Lao PDR that have comprehensive cooperative relations with Son La province, continue to update and inform relevant agencies and organizations in the province about international economic events for registration to participate or orientation for production and business development.
