The National Achievements Exhibition, commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), will be held from August 28 to September 5, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center in Hanoi. The event will showcase Vietnam's outstanding achievements over the past 80 years of nation-building and development across key sectors, including industry and technology, investment and trade, agriculture and rural development, national defense and security, foreign affairs, healthcare, education, culture, sports, and tourism. The exhibition also serves as an opportunity to highlight the beauty of Vietnam—its people and its land—with a culture rich in national identity spanning 4,000 years; the diversity and vibrancy of its 54 ethnic groups; distinctive regional resources and specialties; and iconic architectural landmarks from different historical periods.
The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered a speech at the meeting.
The Son La province exhibition space, themed "Son La - Historical imprints, cultural colors, and aspiration for development," is organized visually with images, artifacts, models, documents, typical products, and the city's unique specialties presented through modern technology. The exhibition content introduces the land, people, and distinctive ethnic cultures of Son La province; images and documents showcasing the resilient and indomitable revolutionary spirit of the people of Son La in the struggle for liberation and national independence in 1945; and the economic, cultural, social, defense, security, and foreign affairs achievements of Son La over 80 years of building, protecting, and developing alongside the nation. It also presents and promotes Son La's potential and strengths during the period of national renewal and international integration, such as the potential for developing processed agricultural products, OCOP products, and especially tourism potential with key tourism areas like Moc Chau National tourist area, Ta Xua - Bac Yen tourist area, and the Son La hydropower reservoir lake area. Additionally, there will be community cultural exchange activities with artisans and amateur performers at the exhibition space for domestic and international visitors (showcasing traditional handicrafts, Thai Xoe art, Hmong Khen dance, and ethnic Thai cuisine).

The delegates reviewed the exhibition design concept.
