Previously, the circulation and retail of goods in the province were mainly in traditional markets and grocery stores. However, the emergence of trade centers, supermarkets, and convenience stores has contributed to the change in people's shopping habits. In the province, there is currently 01 trade center, market, grocery store, convenience store, points of introduction and sale of agricultural products, OCOP products, and the WinMart+ store system in operation, thanks to that, commercial activities are maintained and developed, goods circulate smoothly, the supply of essential goods such as food, foodstuffs, and fuel is guaranteed, meeting the living, production, and business needs of people and businesses. The total retail sales of goods in the first 6 months of the year are estimated at 20,200 billion VND, up 12.5% over the same period last year.

Many distribution and retail stores, such as Winmart+ Supermarket, MediaMart Electronics, Mobile World, Dien May Xanh, and other distribution and retail channels, integrate utilities with entertainment, dining, and shopping services, in particular, e-commerce activities have developed with multiple convenient payment methods, such as QR Code, POS payment, and Mobile Banking, contributing to creating convenience for customers, promoting the trade and service sector. In recent years, the province has supplemented funding from the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, central and local capital, and other legal capital sources to renovate, upgrade, and build new traditional markets. In particular, the network of convenience stores and mini supermarkets spread throughout the province offers people lots of convenient options. The development of commercial infrastructure has made a crucial contribution to changing the urban landscape, promoting the growth of the trade industry. To build the province into a dynamic trading hub, in the coming time, the provincial departments, branches and sectors will strengthen coordination with localities to focus on synchronously implementing solutions to the investment environment; concentrating on removing difficulties and obstacles for production and business activities; paying attention to developing e-commerce; synchronously developing modern and traditional trade infrastructure, between urban and rural areas.
