The 9th conference of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Business Association.

According to the Provincial Department of Finance, as of June 2025, Son La province had 3,942 active enterprises with a total registered capital of VND 70,733 billion. In the first half of the year, the business and production situation of the local business community showed many positive signs: 537 new enterprises and affiliated units were established (an increase of 173.9% compared to the same period in 2024), and 60 businesses resumed operations (up 7.1% year-on-year). In the first six months of 2025, the Provincial Business Association actively implemented its annual action plan in alignment with the province’s socio-economic development orientation and its assigned functions and duties. The Association's activities received close attention and guidance from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, as well as effective coordination from departments, agencies, and localities—particularly the active and responsible participation of affiliated business chapters, member organizations, and individual members. The activities were carried out on schedule, with clear focus and priorities, meeting the practical needs of the business community. The Association continued to play its role as a bridge between enterprises and the government, supporting its members in restoring and developing production and business activities.

The Association also proactively contributed opinions and recommendations for the development and implementation of mechanisms and policies to support private sector and enterprise development—especially in connection with the implementation of Politburo’s Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW dated October 10, 2023, on “building and promoting the role of the Vietnamese business community in the new era”; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025, on “developing the private economy”; and other relevant resolutions and plans of the central government and the province. The Association also focused on representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members. It promptly gathered and reported difficulties, obstacles, and policy-related proposals within its authority, thereby contributing to improving the local investment and business environment.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly Nguyen Dinh Viet, requested that the Provincial Business Association, departments, sectors, and local authorities continue to take a more proactive and vigorous approach in disseminating and guiding enterprises to effectively implement key Resolutions and Directives of the Central Government and the province on private economic development and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He emphasized the importance of supporting innovative businesses, digital enterprises, green businesses, women-led enterprises, and startups. He called on provincial businesses and entrepreneurs to further promote their proactive and creative spirit, continuously innovate technology, and improve productivity and the quality of products and services. Enterprises are encouraged to strengthen regional cooperation, expand connections with business associations both within and outside the province, and engage with domestic and international investment–trade–tourism promotion organizations. Special attention should be paid to digital transformation, green and circular economy development, and the production of high-quality, standards-compliant products to meet both domestic and international market demands.
