(sonla.gov.vn) On March 14, 2024, in Son La City, the People's Committees of Bac Giang and Son La provinces jointly organized a conference to promote attracting workers to work at enterprises in Bac Giang province. Departments, branches, and several enterprises were also attending. The conference was held in a combination of in-person and online formats at 12 connecting points in districts and Son La city in Son La province.

In 2024, Bac Giang province needs to recruit over 112,500 people. The recruitment industry focuses on electronic component assembly and garment manufacturing. The basic salary offered by Bac Giang Enterprises ranges from 4.2 to 6.5 million VND; the total monthly income of employees ranges from 7 to 12 million VND for direct production workers (manual workers); the salary ranges from 8 to under 15 million VND for indirect labor positions (office workers, accountants, interpreters, technical workers); the salary of 15 million VND or more mainly paid to employees doing management jobs such as department heads, team leaders, department heads, department directors.
Business representatives gave opinions at the Conference.
At the conference, representatives of Bac Giang Province’s enterprises and the Bac Giang Province’s Association of Human Resources and Employment provided an overview of the mechanisms and policies to attract workers to work at Bac Giang enterprises. At the same time, they hoped to coordinate with vocational schools, employment service centers, and mass organizations of Son La province to help workers have more access to recruitment information.
The conference was held online in 12 districts and Son La city in Son La province.
Discussing at the meeting, representatives of departments, branches, and enterprises of Bac Giang province exchanged contents to clarify the best conditions for recruitment and ensure the best benefits for workers, creating conditions for businesses to recruit human resources in Son La province, recruitment policies, etc.
After the discussion, the Conference agreed that the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of the two provinces is the focal unit, providing fraught information to recruiting units and workers in need; along with that, the authorities from district to commune level of Son La province promote their role in providing multiple information on recruitment needs for local people; Bac Giang enterprises continue to pay attention, properly perform their roles and responsibilities, coordinate well in training labor resources so that workers can feel secure to work stably and long-term.
