Mai Son Industrial Park has three projects approved for investment in 2024, including: the Instant cereal production and Dried fruit processing plant project; the BHL Son La modified starch processing plant project; and the Mavin Mai Son integrated complex for animal feed production and Agricultural products processing.

The Instant cereal and Dried fruit processing plant project, developed by VFI Investment Trading Production Joint Stock Company, is designed to produce 720 tons of granola cereal per year, 300 tons of powdered cereal per year, 2,800 tons of dried fruit per year, and 300 tons of puree annually. The total investment capital is VND 39 billion. The investor is currently carrying out key construction items, including the administration building, factory workshops, and auxiliary works, all of which have reached 50% completion. The project is expected to be completed before September 15, 2025.

The BHL Son La modified starch processing plant project, invested by BHL Food Ingredient Processing Joint Stock Company, has a designed capacity of 90,000 tons per year, with a total investment of nearly VND 245 billion. Currently, the steel structures for the factory, office building, clean water tank, fire-fighting water reservoir, and the concrete foundation for the cooling tank have been basically completed. The plant is expected to be inaugurated and put into operation in September 2025.

The Mavin Mai Son integrated complex for animal feed production and Agricultural products processing has a total investment of VND 350 billion. The project aims to produce animal feed and process agricultural products such as corn, cassava, and fruits, with a designed capacity of 200,000 tons of animal feed and 300,000 tons of processed agricultural products per year. Until now, the investor is preparing the project's feasibility study report. Groundbreaking is expected before September 15, 2025, with project completion, handover, and commissioning scheduled before January 2027.

During the on-site inspection of the projects and meetings with relevant units, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Mai Son Industrial Park Management Board and Mai Son District to closely coordinate with related departments and agencies to supervise and accelerate the implementation progress of projects within Mai Son Industrial Park; strictly comply with legal regulations on investment and construction activities, ensuring adherence to construction schedules, quality, safety, fire prevention, and environmental protection. At the same time, efforts should be made to expedite site clearance and hand over the construction of electrical systems, drainage, and wastewater treatment to ensure effective operation of the projects.
