Delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Vietnam visits and works with Son La Province

Receiving the Delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Vietnam, Son La Province was represented by Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Trang Thi Xuan, along with leaders from several provincial departments and agencies.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Mrs Trang Thi Xuan warmly welcomed the delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Vietnam during their visit and working session in Son La Province. She also provided an overview of the province’s key political, socio-economic achievements, as well as its potential advantages-especially in agricultural economic development, highlighting tea, coffee, and fruit products. She expressed hope that the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Vietnam would gain a deeper understanding of Son La’s strengths and work towards building cooperative programs and sustainable investment partnerships between the two sides in the near future.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Frantz Verella expressed his gratitude to the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of Son La’s departments for their warm and respectful reception. He expressed the delegation’s desire to strengthen cooperation with the province in the field of agriculture, particularly coffee cultivation, contributing to the increasingly developed friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Haiti.

Son La Province presented gifts to the visiting delegation

During their visit and working session in Son La Province, the delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Vietnam will tour and conduct a field study at Bich Thao Son La Coffee Cooperative located in Hoang Van Thu Village, Hua La Commune, Son La City. They will also visit the coffee growing areas and the coffee processing factory of Bich Thao Son La Coffee Cooperative in Trung Tam Village, Chieng Den Commune, Son La City.
