Signing Ceremony for Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement 2024–2028

Attending the signing ceremony were: Mr.Nguyen Huu Dong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr.Nguyen Long Hai, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Secretary of the Central Business Bloc Party Committee; Mr.Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines Corporation; Mr.Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr.Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board; and leaders of Yen Chau and Moc Chau districts.

In recent years, with the support of Vietnam Airlines, Son La Province has benefited significantly, particularly in promoting the consumption of safe agricultural products. Notably, in 2022, lychee and in 2023, plum were featured in the in-flight meals and lounges of Vietnam Airlines, enhancing the brand and value of Son La's agricultural products. Building on the successful collaboration to date and shaping the framework for comprehensive cooperation in 2024–2028 and beyond, Son La Province and Vietnam Airlines have agreed to formalize a comprehensive cooperation agreement. This partnership will focus on assisting Son La with the transportation and export of agricultural products globally, continuing to feature products such as plum, strawberries, and lychee on flights, investing in the development of Na San Airport into a dual-use facility, and promoting Son La’s tourist destinations at airports and on Vietnam Airlines flights.

The details of the comprehensive cooperation agreement have been committed to and will be implemented by the leaders of Son La Province and Vietnam Airlines as soon as possible.
