At the meeting, leaders of Doveco Son La Fruit and Vegetable Processing Center quickly informed about the status of purchasing and consuming agricultural products in the province. Accordingly, from the beginning of the season until now, Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company has purchased over 8,600 tons of all kinds of vegetables and fruits, of which about 2,000 tons of mangoes. At the same time, the Company issued a notice to purchase mangoes for farmers for 7,000 VND/kg at Doveco Son La Fruit and Vegetable Processing Center and 8,000 VND/kg at Doveco Ninh Binh. Standard mango fruit is 350g or more, not damaged or crushed. According to the plan, from now until the end of the year, Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company plans to purchase over 60,000 tons of agricultural products of all kinds, of which 10,000 tons of passion fruit, 1,000 tons of longan, 20,000 tons of mango and other agricultural products.

According to statistics, the Son La province currently has over 19,600 hectares of mangoes, with an output of nearly 80,000 tons, concentrated in districts such as Mai Son, Yen Chau, Muong La, Thuan Chau, and Song Ma. From the beginning of the season until now, localities have consumed nearly 10,000 tons of mangoes.

Representative of Doveco Son La Fruit and Vegetable Processing Center pledged to maintain the purchasing price as announced. At the same time, we propose to the province to support and create favorable conditions for the Center to expand raw material areas and develop new crops, such as Japanese squash, cauliflower, cabbage, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong requested Doveco Son La Fruit and Vegetable Processing Center to develop a plan for purchasing and consuming products and increase the capacity of purchasing and processing agricultural products, ensuring harmonious and sustainable benefits between businesses, cooperatives, and people.
