The meeting agreed on several tasks to focus on as follows:

The departments and branches of the province will concentrate on preparing the content for the twenty-first thematic session and the content to be submitted to the ninth session of the Provincial People's Council.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development strengthens the direction of natural disaster prevention and mitigation, and disease prevention for crops and livestock and coordinates with the Department of Industry and Trade to observe the safe and effective operation of reservoirs and inter-reservoirs to ensure the safety of works and downstream areas.

The People's Committees of the districts, and the city need to improve their capacity to direct, command, and respond to natural disasters and incidents in each district.

The Department of Planning and Investment presides over and coordinates with the Department of Finance to advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate a directive on a socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates, and public investment plans for 2025.

The Department of Finance deploys a plan to manage the budget revenue and expenditure estimates for June 2024, organize and implement state budget expenditures strictly, and economically by rules, and promote the efficiency of state budget use.

The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, relevant sectors, and People's Committees of districts and Son La city to focus on implementing the plan for the consumption and export of agricultural products in 2024. The Department of Education and Training is in charge of preparing conditions for organizing the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Son La province, ensuring success and absolute safety, and strengthening the inspection and examination of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, and directing the summary of the 2023-2024 school year at all levels, the management, repair, and maintenance of school facilities during the summer of 2024.
