The Indian film Festival will take place from June 13 to 15, 2025, at the Son La Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema. During the festival, four Indian films will be screened free of charge: The Roar of Freedom, You Only Live Once, English Vinglish, and Wrestler Queen.

The International Day of Yoga 2025 is scheduled to take place from 6:00 AM to 7:10 AM on June 14, 2025, at Khan Pieu Square, Moc Chau Island Tourist Area, Na Lun Residential Group, Muong Sang Ward, Moc Chau Town. The program will include the lighting ceremony, a 40-minute mass performance of the common yoga protocol, and a flow yoga performance by Moc Chau Yoga Clubs.

Until now, the assigned agencies and units have been implementing preparations for the Indian film Festival and the International Day of Yoga in Sơn La Province in accordance with the planned schedule. Preparatory tasks include reception and protocol arrangements, issuance of invitations, coordination and compilation of the list of international guests, as well as communication and promotional activities to widely publicize the events to the people across Son La Province.

In her remarks at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Trang Thi Xuan, emphasized that organizing the Indian film Festival and the International Day of Yoga in Son La Province contributes to strengthening cultural exchange between Son La, Vietnam, and India through the Indian Embassy in Vietnam. The events aim to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, sports, and tourism. She also requested that relevant agencies and units ensure security and order, traffic safety, and fire prevention and control before, during, and after the events—especially at the designated venues—to guarantee the safety of local residents and international guests participating in activities across the province.
