(en.sonla.gov.vn) On the afternoon of May 5, 2025, Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples Committee, and Head of the Provincial Border Work Steering Committee chaired a meeting to prepare for the 2025 border expansion meeting between Son La province, Hua Phan province and Luang Prabang province, Lao Peoples Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
The meeting was attended by leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Provincial People's Committee Office.
The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to prepare the content of the Border Work Conference in 2025.
At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and related units reported on the implementation of preparations for the Border Work Conference. At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing the contents of the Border Work Conference preparation, such as the preparation of the Border Work conference content, the reception program; reviewing and approving the content of the conference video report; ensuring security, food safety, electricity, water; proposing emulation and rewards, etc.
